Hello Sherri Lynn, I am inquiring about your fees and expectations for doing a workshop here in Sacramento. If you are interested would you please reply to me personally. Thank you very much.

To put it simply I love your work and philosophy. I am a beginning quilter and have found it difficult to find my niche since I am essentially grounded in spiritual expressions ranging from the I Ching, Buddhism, and Our Lady of Guadalupe. At the moment I am learning classical quilt techniques but I find it difficult to get excited about simply making patches and putting them together. Patience is sometimes hard to come by. Having completed my training in Expressive Arts therapy about 20 years ago, I have explored all sorts of creative expression centering on shrine making workshops both for personal use and parish team building. Right now I find textiles to be both inspiring and challenging. I find your approach so refreshing.

Is there a chance you will be coming to Souther California in the near future. I live in San Deigo. Thank you for making a difference in so many lives.

Thanks Linda. I do understand my work, and improvisational quilt making in the broader context of self-discovery, creativity and spiritual growth. I appreciate your thoughts and wish you well on your path. I’m not scheduled to teach in Southern California yet. Perhaps you can put in a good word for me if the opportunity arises. That’s usually how I eventually get invited to a location. Best!

I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed your lecture at Stitch Modern. It was really inspirational. I do hope your book deal comes through as you have so much to share with the world.
