New Zealand & Australia Patchwork Tour

Improv Round Robin at Penland School of Craft

I’ve had quite a year of teaching! I can hardly keep up. It’s been wonderful meeting and quilting with people all over the US and Canada, and I’m ending this unbelievably rewarding year of teaching with my first overseas tour of New Zealand & Australia.

I never imagined that quilting would take me half way around the world some day! It all started with an invitation a year and a half ago to apply to be a tutor at the New Zealand Quilt Symposium in Christchurch in 2017, and now the time has arrived. I can’t wait to meet and sew with all my Kiwi and Aussie fans!

Looking forward to hearing from you at Symposium, even if I’m not in your class. I hope you enjoy your trip downunder. Don’t forget to try some Timtams while you are down here, the best chocolate biscuits in the world, and well worth the trip.

Thanks Tarrnia. I had the most wonderful tour of New Zealand and Australia. I hope I will have another opportunity to visit. You all are most lucky to live in such wonderful countries.
