Knitting Insanity

There are days when I get insane about knitting. I pull out yarn. I pull out patterns.

I knit swatches and suddenly I want to knit several sweaters, a fancy lace camisole, a few pairs of socks all at the same time! I have so many projects imagined that I feel all itchy about it.

I wile away my day as my mind runs on and on with calculations and grand plans. I probably have more projects in mind than I can knit in a lifetime.

I don’t know why I get this way. On those days my mind is as cluttered as the work table in front of me.

I finally settle down with the steady knit, purl, knit, purl on the rib of a green sweater.

    I thoroughly enjoy your songs.

There are worse things to be insane about :) As always, it’s best to step back and simplify whether it’s with writing, knitting, pretty much anything. As always, thank you for the post. Back to my writing!

  3. Oh I get like this about virtually every crafty endevour, simply not enough hours in the day for it all, but its fun thinking about it huh? I wish I could knit awesome stuff like you!
